They could also serve as a functional harvest basket to be used at farmer's markets, picnics, or storage bins in your home while not being utilized to collect local goods.

Handwoven by a cooperative of artisans in a region of Bolgatanga, Ghana, each basket is created with care and meticulous attention to detail as the artisans vision is brought to life with each layer they weave in. The baskets are exclusively made in a fair trade working environment. Due to the handwoven nature of these baskets, expect some variation in size, shape, and color.

Note: We ship these baskets flattened to be more sustainable with shipping options. Once the basket arrives you will have the honor of shaping your basket to its final product.  You can shape your basket by wetting the straw, shaping the basket with your hands, and allowing it to dry.
